abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new cell line derived from sturgeon that is expected to be used for diagnosis of virus infection of sturgeon. According to the present invention, STIP-2 cells, which are cell lines derived from iris pigmented epithelial cells of the eyeball of Vaster, one of the types of sturgeon, are provided.
