abstract [PROBLEMS] To provide a highly durable filter that is particularly useful as a filter for collecting particulate matter (particulates) in exhaust gas, in which defects such as small holes and cracks after coating with a coating material are reliably suppressed. A honeycomb structure is provided. A plurality of honeycomb segments are integrally bonded by a bonding material, and the outer peripheral surface of the bonded body contains ceramic as a main component and also contains granular filler and 9 to 13% by mass of water.
