abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluoroelastomer having improved processability and very good mechanical and elastomeric properties which can be cured by both ionic and peroxidation routes. The polymer chain has the formula: CFX = CXOCF 2 OR (I) [Wherein R is a C 2 to C 6 linear, branched or C 5 to C 6 cyclic (per) fluoroalkyl group, or a C 2 to C 6 linear or branched chain containing 1 to 3 oxygen atoms. A (per) fluorooxyalkyl group; when R is a fluoroalkyl or fluorooxyalkyl group as described above, it may contain from 1 to 2 atoms, which are equal or different from each other, the following: H, Cl , Br, I; a fluoroelastomer consisting of units derived from a fluorovinyl ether having X = F, H].
