abstract |
The present invention provides a method for reducing the amount of enzyme used in saccharification / decomposition of cellulose without reducing the enzyme activity and by reusing the enzyme. In the saccharification and decomposition of cellulose, a chimeric β-glucosidase including a region exhibiting β-glucosidase activity derived from a thermophilic bacterium and a module capable of binding to cellulose and a cellulosome are used in combination, and cellulose is decomposed at the end of the saccharification / decomposition reaction of cellulose.
