abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system capable of efficiently charging a transport vehicle. [Configuration] A plurality of transport vehicles that travel using a power storage member as a power source are allowed to travel along a predetermined travel route under the control of a ground-side controller. The travel route includes a charging area equipped with a charging facility for the power storage member of the transport vehicle, and the transport vehicle reports the position and the remaining capacity of the power storage member to the ground side controller. The ground-side controller causes a transport vehicle whose remaining capacity of the power storage member is equal to or less than a threshold value to travel to the charging area, charges the power storage member, and travels the transport vehicle in the charging area to a position outside the charging area in response to a transport request.
