A solid oxide fuel cell having a novel configuration capable of increasing output and a method of manufacturing the same are provided. A solid electrolyte layer 11 having oxygen ion conductivity, a porous sintered body 121 formed on one main surface side of the solid electrolyte layer and made of an electron-ion mixed conductive material, and the porous structure. Formed on at least a part of the surface of the porous sintered body, the fuel electrode 12 including the oxide film 122 in which the metal particles 123 are dispersedly supported, and the other main surface of the solid electrolyte layer.
