titleOfInvention | Method for producing highly gas permeable cyclic olefin addition polymer |
abstract | In the presence of a multi-component catalyst containing the following compounds (A), (B), and (C), a specific cyclic olefin functional siloxane, or this siloxane and a specific cyclic olefin compound are subjected to addition polymerization. The proportion of structural units derived from the cyclic olefin functional siloxane is 10 to 100 mol% in the addition polymer, and the number average molecular weight (Mn) is 100,000 to 2,000,000. A method for producing a highly gas-permeable cyclic olefin addition polymer to obtain an addition polymer. [Compound (A)] Zero-valent palladium compound. [Compound (B)] Ionic boron compounds. [Compound (C)] A phosphine compound having a substituent selected from an alkyl group having 3 to 6 carbon atoms, a cycloalkyl group, and an aryl group. According to the present invention, a polymer having excellent gas permeability, high thermal stability, film strength and excellent solubility in an organic solvent can be easily produced.
