abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly versatile fibrous adsorbent capable of adsorbing polar compounds and metal elements in a wide range of samples and corresponding to various usage purposes. SOLUTION: A water-soluble zwitterionic polymer having an amino group or a cyclic imino group and a carboxyl group as a functional group having a high affinity for a polar compound or metal is mixed in a fiber raw material solution, and wet. We produce polar adsorbents and high-fibrous adsorbents for metal adsorption that can be used for various spinning purposes and can be mixed and spun by the spinning method. [Selection figure] None
