abstract A solid electrolyte fuel cell component is provided. This part is formed by casting an electrolyte layer (42) and electrode layers (40, 44) to form a handleable green tape. The raw tape is coiled into a form having an S-shaped central portion (50) with loops oriented in both directions, and a first longitudinal channel (46) that presents the anode surface and a first electrode that exhibits the cathode surface. Two longitudinal channels (48) are provided. After winding the coil, the assembly is fired to produce a solid sintered product. [Selection] Figure 4
