abstract The present invention provides a silane-crosslinked polyethylene, an electric wire, and a cable having a high degree of crosslinking, a smooth appearance after extrusion, and a small shrink back. The silane-crosslinked polyethylene of the present invention is a silane-crosslinked polyethylene obtained by crosslinking polyethylene obtained by graft copolymerization of a silane compound with a free radical generator, and the silane compound is 1.5 parts per 100 parts by weight of polyethylene. The ratio of the addition amount of the silane compound to the addition amount of the free radical generator is 35 or more, and the polyethylene obtained by graft copolymerization of the silane compound with the free radical generator has a temperature of 190 ° C. and 21.18 N.
