abstract |
A cooling oil having a high heat penetration rate and a biodegradability and a cooling method using the cooling oil are provided. The cooling oil comprises at least one of an ester and an ether, and both ends of the main chain of the ester and ether are aromatic groups. Since the cooling oil of the present invention has a high thermal permeability and biodegradability, it can be suitably used particularly for cooling motors of electric motor-equipped vehicles such as electric vehicles and hybrid vehicles.
