abstract | A method for producing a benzylhydantoin compound in a safe and industrially advantageous manner is provided. SOLUTION: Formula (1) (Wherein R 1 , R 2 and R 3 each independently represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a hydroxy group, an amino group, an alkyl group, an alkoxy group, an aralkyl group, an aryl group or a heterocyclic group, or R 2 adjacent R 1 to R 3 may be combined to form a ring.)
