titleOfInvention Passive exercise equipment
abstract The present invention provides a passive exercise device that allows a user to exercise with muscle contraction of the entire leg even when sitting in a chair. A passive exercise device 1 is installed at a foot of a user 5 sitting on a chair 4. The passive exercise apparatus 1 includes a foot support base 2 that supports a user's foot and a drive device that drives the foot support base 2 by a driving force generated by a drive source. The drive device has a swing mechanism that moves the foot support 2 through a trajectory that moves away from the floor surface as the foot support 2 positioned at the foot of the user 5 with the knee bent is moved forward. Yes. The swing mechanism moves the foot support 2 like a pendulum around the knee position of the user 5. As a result, the user 5 can perform the exercise of raising and lowering the leg with bending and stretching of the knee in a posture while sitting on the chair 4, so that the thigh muscle group expands and contracts.
