titleOfInvention Stable light source
abstract A lighting system is disclosed. The light emitting system emits output light having a first color. The light emitting system includes a first electroluminescent device that emits light at a first wavelength in response to a first signal. This first wavelength is substantially independent of the first signal. The intensity of the emitted first wavelength light is substantially proportional to the first signal. The light emitting system further includes a first light emitting element including a second electroluminescent device and a first light conversion layer. The second electroluminescent device emits light of the second wavelength in response to the second signal. The first light conversion layer includes a semiconductor potential well, and converts at least a part of light having the second wavelength into light having a third wavelength longer than the second wavelength. The light emitting system combines light of a first wavelength and light of a third wavelength to form output light of a first color. One of the first signal and the second signal has changed from about 50% of the maximum rating of the signal to about 100% of the maximum rating, but the ratio of the first signal to the second signal is substantially different. If unchanged, the first color of the output light remains substantially unchanged. [Selection] Figure 1
