abstract | The present invention relates to a process for preparing modified ZnO particles in which a zinc salt and a base are mixed in a polar solvent, and optionally the polar solvent is removed after precipitation of the precipitated product to obtain a residue. Take up in a non-polar solvent, add surfactant, optionally other agents, and subsequently separate the modified ZnO particles from other by-products. The invention also relates to materials containing modified ZnO particles, such as plastics, paints or paints. The present invention relates to a method for incorporating modified ZnO particles into a material, wherein the modified ZnO particles are incorporated into the material in the form of a dispersion or suspension. The present invention relates to the use of modified ZnO particles as catalysts for semiconductor layers or cosmetic applications in order to protect the material against the action of light, heat, oxygen or radicals. |
