abstract |
The present invention relates to mutant α-hemolysin (α-HL) pores that are useful for detecting one or more nucleotides by stochastic sensing. The pores are particularly useful for DNA or RNA sequencing. Molecular adapters that allow detection of nucleotides are covalently bound to the pore. The pores can be specifically modified to facilitate adapter placement and facilitate covalent bonding. |
