abstract |
A gaseous component recovery method for recovering a gaseous component containing at least one fluorine-containing compound from a mixture of gaseous compounds. Said method comprises the step of contacting in the separation zone (12) a gaseous component mixture comprising at least one fluorine-containing component with a gas permeable separation medium (16) comprising a polymer compound. A first gaseous component comprising at least one fluorine-containing component is separated from a second gaseous component comprising the remainder of the gaseous component. The first gaseous component is collected from the separation zone as a permeate (34) or a permeate residue, while the second gaseous component is recovered from the first gaseous component as a permeate. Sometimes recovered as permeate (26) from the separation zone, and when the first gaseous component is recovered as permeate, it is recovered as permeate. |
