abstract The present invention relates to a system arranged to assist in the reliable handling of cells in order to minimize the risk of confusion of cell samples due to mishandling. The system allows for one-to-one identification of cells during the entire culture period. This is obtained by providing a culture system with loading / discharging control means that ensures that only one device can be loaded / removed at a time. The system is arranged to perform culture and optionally monitoring of at least two microscopic objects, and the at least two microscopic objects are arranged in at least two separate devices. The system includes an incubator, a load port for loading the device to be placed in the incubator, an exhaust port for retrieving the device from the incubator, and only one device can be loaded into the system at a time. Loading control means capable of controlling a certain thing.
