Poly (vinyl alcohol) at a final concentration of about 20% (w / w) to about 65% (w / w), and polyethylene at a final concentration of about 2% (w / w) to about 20% (w / w) A method of forming a resulting hydrogel composition comprising a glycol, wherein the hydrogel composition is greater than about 30% (w / w) greater than the total polymer content of the precursor polymer solution made prior to its preparation. A method having a polymer content. The hydrogel composition may further comprise poly (vinyl pyrrolidone) at a final concentration of about 0.10% (w / w) to about 0.75% (w / w). |
