abstract | The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for treating cancer comprising a chlorin e6-folate binding compound and chitosan, and more particularly, a compound in a form in which chlorin e6 and folic acid are bound to each other in a singlet oxygen in various media. Is a novel compound having characteristics useful for photodynamic treatment of malignant tumors by having significantly superior tumor selectivity compared to conventional porphyrin series photoincreasing and reducing agents. The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for photodynamically treating solid cancer, comprising a folate-binding compound or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and chitosan as active ingredients.
