The present invention relates to a composition for improving athletic performance, improving fatigue recovery, or preventing an oxidative response, comprising a plant leaf extract of the genus Panax species or a treatment product of the leaf extract or a mixture of both. It relates to a composition comprising as an active ingredient. The present composition comprising a Panax species plant leaf extract or a processed product of the leaf extract or a mixture of both increases exercise capacity, suppresses the accumulation of fatigue markers in the blood, and prevents oxidative responses.
