abstract |
A method is described for treating water with chlorine dioxide (ClO 2 ), wherein the reaction chamber in which ClO 2 is generated is entirely surrounded by the water to be treated. ClO 2 generated in the reaction chamber is supplied directly from the reaction chamber into the water to be treated. The conductivity of the solution exiting the reaction chamber can be measured. Preferably, ClO 2 is generated from sodium chlorite using hydrochloric acid. |
