titleOfInvention Implantable sensor anchor
abstract An anchor for an implantable medical device, such as an implantable physiological sensor, extends from a proximal hub portion, an intermediate portion that extends radially and distally from the hub portion, and a distal direction from the proximal portion; A distal portion configured to engage the inner surface of the target tube for securing the implantable medical device therein. The anchor takes a folded configuration for delivery within the catheter and an expanded configuration for securing within the deployed tube. Because the intermediate portion extends from the proximal portion at an angle of inclination, the anchor can be retracted into the delivery catheter after initial deployment and refolded if repositioning or removal of the implantable medical device is necessary or desirable.
