One or more selected from the group consisting of non-polymeric or otherwise non-polymeric bi- or polyfunctional initiators, oligomeric initiators, polymeric initiators and polymerizable initiators A free radical curable liquid for ink jet printing of food packaging materials comprising a large amount of initiator; wherein the polymerizable composition of the liquid is essentially: a) 25-100% by weight of at least 1 One or more polymerizable compounds A having one acrylate group G1 and at least one second ethylenically unsaturated polymerizable functional group G2 selected from the group consisting of vinyl ether groups, allyl ether groups and allyl ester groups B) one or more weights selected from the group consisting of 0 to 55% by weight of monofunctional acrylates and difunctional acrylates; Possible compound B; and c) one or more polymers selected from the group consisting of 0 to 55% by weight of a trifunctional acrylate, a tetrafunctional acrylate, a pentafunctional acrylate and a hexafunctional acrylate. Consisting of compound C, provided that weight percentage of compound B> 24 wt%, weight percentage of compound C> 1 wt%; and where all weight percentages of A, B and C are in the polymerizable composition A free radical curable liquid, based on the total weight; and provided that at least one polymerizable compound B or C is present in the polymerizable composition if the free radical curable liquid contains no initiator.
