abstract The replaceable cartridge has a generally tubular sidewall constructed of termite resistant material and an internal chamber. The side wall has an upper end and an open lower end. The aggregating member is separate from the side wall and can be positioned at least partially within its interior chamber substantially adjacent to the lower end of the side wall to at least partially close the lower end of the side wall. The agglomerating member is configured to define at least one opening through which termites enter the interior chamber through the lower end of the sidewall. The agglomeration member is constructed of termite edible material. The bait matrix is separate from the agglomeration member and is disposed in the interior chamber of the side wall intermediate the agglomeration member and the upper end of the side wall.
