Methods and devices for detecting one or more targets are disclosed. The method includes a step of providing a sample containing a first target inside a microfluidic device, and a step of causing hybridization between a plurality of copies of the first target and a plurality of nanostructures. The method includes a step of applying a current to the plurality of nanostructures and a step of moving the plurality of nanostructures using an electric field generated by the current. In addition, the plurality of nanostructures are classified and evaluated to determine at least one of the presence, absence, or amount of the first target. |
