abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lignin-based material derived from a lignophenol derivative that is easy to use while maintaining the structural variability of the lignophenol derivative. [Solution] A lignophenol derivative containing a 1,1-diphenylpropane unit grafted with a phenol derivative at the α-position of the phenylpropane unit of lignin is dissolved in an alkaline aqueous medium, and the alkaline aqueous medium in which the lignophenol derivative is dissolved is dissolved with an acid. The product obtained by neutralization and neutralization is recovered based on the solubility in the medium after neutralization. The lignin-based material thus obtained has thermal characteristics different from those of lignophenol derivatives and is more suitable for use. [Selection figure] None |
