Power storage device |
abstract |
A power storage device having a large discharge capacity and high energy density is provided. A positive electrode having a positive electrode active material on a positive electrode current collector and a negative electrode facing the positive electrode with an electrolyte interposed therebetween. The positive electrode active material is formed of a compound containing lithium and nickel. A first region 102; and a second region 104 that covers the first region 102 and is formed of a compound that includes lithium, one or more of iron, manganese, and cobalt, and does not include nickel. It is a power storage device. Since the entire surface layer portion of the positive electrode active material particles is formed in a region that does not contain nickel, nickel does not come into contact with the electrolytic solution, thereby suppressing the development of the catalytic effect of nickel and high discharge of nickel. Potential can be used. [Selection] Figure 1 |
