abstract |
The present invention provides a wound healing method using the A 2B adenosine receptor antagonists. The present invention also relates to methods for preparing such compounds and pharmaceutical compositions containing the compounds. The present invention provides a method of promoting wound healing in a mammal comprising administering to the mammal a therapeutically effective amount of an A2B receptor antagonist. The present invention also provides a pharmaceutical composition comprising a therapeutically effective amount of an A2B receptor antagonist and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier suitable for local delivery.
