abstract | The present invention provides a method for enriching acidic compounds in a gaseous effluent. A feed comprising an acidic compound and a composition comprising at least two immiscible liquid phases including an aqueous phase, at least one amphiphilic compound and at least one accelerator mixture. Supplying a gas to the contactor; establishing a predetermined pressure and temperature condition in the contactor to form a hydrate composed of water, a promoter, and an acidic compound; and immiscible with the aqueous phase. Pumping the hydrate dispersed in the phase to a hydrate dissociation drum;-establishing a hydrate dissociation condition in the drum; and-enriching the feed compound with acidic compounds obtained from the dissociation.
