abstract |
The present invention provides a method for measuring phosphorylase activity of a cyclin / CDK complex in a sample against an RB protein or a partial peptide thereof. Phosphorylation of an RB protein phosphorylated by a cyclin / CDK complex is evaluated by an immunological technique using an antibody capable of distinguishing the phosphorylation state, and phosphorylation of the cyclin / CDK complex against the RB protein. Methods of measuring activity and methods of measuring phosphatase activity on RB proteins phosphorylated by cyclin / CDK complexes are provided. This measurement method can be applied to screen for compounds that modulate these enzyme activities. [Selection figure] None |
