titleOfInvention | Analytical method for quantitative determination of functional groups on the surface of carbon black |
abstract | The amount of functional groups present on the surface of carbon black, in particular carboxyl groups, lactone groups, and phenolic hydroxyl groups, can be determined safely and easily at a very low cost according to the intended surface functional groups. The present invention relates to an analysis method for quantification. SOLUTION: At least two kinds of salt aqueous solutions having different acid dissociation constants are separately added to carbon black to perform neutralization titration, and calculation is performed by the reaction of the plurality of salt aqueous solutions with carbon black. This is an analysis method for quantifying a specific surface functional group on the surface of carbon black based on an absolute value between the respective neutralization titration values.
