abstract |
To provide a water-absorbing material derived from a natural product having an absorption capacity of 10 g or more per 1 g of resin. A water-absorbing material mainly composed of a material obtained from an oil palm trunk. The soft tissue obtained from the oil palm trunk has a porous structural characteristic, and the water absorption performance hardly deteriorates even for a high salt concentration solution such as seawater or a solution containing an organic solvent.
