abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer solid electrolytic capacitor having excellent frequency characteristics, capable of being increased in capacity and reduced in thickness, and having short circuit resistance. A multilayer solid electrolytic capacitor (100) includes an anode foil (13) made of a metal having a valve action and a cathode foil (11) having whiskers for holding carbide particles (17) formed on the surface thereof.
