abstract A siloxane remover and a gas sensor filter capable of efficiently removing cyclic siloxanes are provided. A siloxane remover includes a resin having a sulfonic acid group such as a strong acid ion exchange resin (such as a sulfonated styrene-divinylbenzene copolymer). The siloxane remover efficiently removes cyclic siloxanes by ring-opening polymerization of cyclic siloxanes [siloxane cyclic trimer (D3), cyclic tetramer (D4), etc.]. Therefore, a siloxane remover can be contained in the filter disposed on the upstream side of the gas sensor. [Selection figure] None
