abstract An oil level gauge for an automobile is provided that includes an O-ring that can be manufactured by a simple method that prevents the O-ring of an oil level gauge from adhering to an oil level gauge guide. The present invention includes a level gauge main body having an oil level detection part that is immersed in an oil reservoir of an internal combustion engine of an automobile and measures an oil level, and a handle part formed on an upper part of the level gauge main body. And an oil level gauge for automobiles, wherein the oil level gauge body is provided with an O-ring which is inserted into an oil level gauge guide and seals oil, and the O-ring is made of a composition containing fluororubber and fluororesin. The fluororesin is deposited on the surface, and the fluororesin is a copolymer containing a polymerized unit based on ethylene and a polymerized unit based on tetrafluoroethylene, and the fluororubber is vinylidene fluoride.
