abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing paper with a high yield without deteriorating the formation and long-term operability of the paper. According to the present invention, a stock containing a pulp raw material is distributed into two or more, a retention agent is added to at least one of the distributed stock, and each of the distributed stock is screened. Removing foreign matter from the stock through the screen, joining two or more stocks through the screen, and jetting the joined stock from the headbox for papermaking.
