abstract An impregnated paper that does not contain formaldehyde causing sick house syndrome, has excellent dimensional stability upon water absorption, and has high interlayer strength. An impregnated paper formed by applying or impregnating an impregnated base paper with a coating liquid containing at least a thermoplastic resin, wherein the impregnated base paper is mixed with chemical fibers, and the coating liquid is dimensionally stabilized. A sulfamate is added as an agent. Furthermore, 5-40 mass% of chemical fibers are mix | blended with respect to all the raw material pulp which comprises the said impregnation base paper.
