abstract | An active energy ray curable composition and an active energy ray curable ink which are cured with high sensitivity to irradiation with low output active energy rays, have little leaching of a surfactant, and have excellent temporal stability. Provided are a composition, an inkjet recording method using the active energy ray-curable ink composition, and a printed matter. A selected from the group consisting of (A) a polymerizable compound having an ethylenically unsaturated bond and substantially insoluble in water, (B) an acrylate group, a methacrylate group, an acrylamide group, and a methacrylamide group. A surfactant having two or more groups, (C) a polymerization initiator, and (D) an active energy ray-curable composition containing water, and an ink jet recording method using the active energy ray-curable ink composition, Printed matter.
