titleOfInvention | Particle suspension |
abstract | An object of the present invention is to provide a method for stabilizing a particle suspension using a reactive polymer surfactant, and a particle suspension obtained by the method. An aqueous phase containing a substantially immiscible organic solvent, wherein the aqueous phase is a suspension of particles in which a solid pesticide that is substantially insoluble in the aqueous phase is suspended. Stability can be achieved by (i) hydrophilizing by polymerizing a plurality of vinyl monomers (not limited to vinyl esters or hydrolysis products thereof) having functional groups capable of cross-linking at least some vinyl monomers. And (ii) one or more substances that can be cross-linked with the functional groups contained in the aqueous phase (dissolved or suspended). It improves by the operation to react with. However, the weight ratio of (a) the polymer stabilizer before crosslinking and (b) the suspended pesticide is less than 1 part of the polymer stabilizer with respect to 5 parts of the suspended pesticide.
