titleOfInvention Probe needle and method of manufacturing probe needle
abstract The present invention provides a probe needle that does not easily deteriorate in electrical conductivity even after repeated use, and a probe needle manufacturing method that does not require large-scale equipment and can reduce the manufacturing cost. A probe needle is a substantially L-shaped wire made of tungsten, beryllium copper, or the like, and is at least one of nickel, copper, silver, gold, zinc, lead, platinum, palladium and alloys containing these. Along with an anode plate formed of various kinds of metals, a plating solution containing at least one of nickel, copper, silver, gold, tin, zinc, lead, chromium, platinum, palladium, iridium and rhodium becomes a cathode. The structure is such that a plurality of minute granular protrusions 2 are formed on the tip 1a by being immersed and applied with a pulse waveform current having an ON-OFF cycle.
