abstract |
The present invention provides an improved method and an improved functional material necessary for simplifying the atom transfer radical polymerization method and reducing the production cost of the produced material. Free radicals mediated by transition metal complexes involved in redox reactions by transferring radically transferable atoms or groups to initiators or inert polymers and growing active polymer chain ends The method for controlled polymerization of (co) polymerizable monomers has been improved. Using this method, new polymer materials were produced and the scope of new production methods for functional polymers including atom transfer bonding reactions was expanded.
