Method for dyeing polyetherimide fiber and dyed product thereof |
abstract |
A polyetherimide fiber and a fiber structure thereof are obtained which are dyed in various colors vividly and are excellent in fastness to washing. According to the present invention, in a dyeing method in which polyetherimide fibers are treated with a dye solution containing a disperse dye, a polyetherimide fiber is added to the dye solution as a carrier. The dye method and the polyetherimide fiber and fiber structure dyed by the dyeing method are provided. A suitable addition amount of the phthalic imide compound is in the range of 1 to 10% (owf).
