abstract | The number of syllables of lyrics matching a predetermined singing melody is presented to a user. Music score information of a singing melody is input (S010), a music segmentation structure and a note analysis are performed based on the music score information, and various feature quantities relating to singing ease are calculated for each individual note. (S110, S120, S210). Based on the calculated feature value, a plurality of types of syllable number scores corresponding to the feature value are calculated for each note (S310). Then, the calculated plurality of types of syllable number scores are weighted and averaged with weighting parameters, and rounded to an integer, thereby calculating the number of syllables of lyrics in note units (S320).
