Disclosed is an antistatic composition that exhibits excellent antistatic properties while maintaining transparency, and that can be used to prevent the surface of a molded article such as plastic or glass. As an antistatic agent, a multibranched molecule having a structure branched from a focal point and containing a salt containing an anion having a fluoro group and a sulfonyl group is used. An antistatic composition obtained by dispersing this in a polymerizable compound, a resin, an elastomer or an adhesive resin does not deteriorate transparency and gives excellent antistatic properties.
