PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the yield of a mounting process such as a semiconductor sealing process such as an IC chip or an LED, a heat pressing process at the time of multilayer printed wiring board lamination manufacturing, or a coverlay affixing process at the time of flexible printed wiring board manufacturing. Provided is a release film that has both high temperature heat resistance and flexibility. A release film comprising a resin composition containing a crosslinked cyclic olefin polymer and an elastomer that is incompatible with the polymer is used. The elastomer is preferably an olefin elastomer, and the olefin elastomer is more preferably at least one selected from an ethylene-α olefin copolymer elastomer and an ethylene-propylene-diene copolymer elastomer. The release film of this invention is used suitably for a semiconductor sealing process or printed circuit board manufacture. [Selection] Figure 1 |
