| abstract | An object of the present invention is to effectively protect a driver's lower limb by preventing the driver's lower limb from slipping off from a lower limb mounting portion of a footrest member during a frontal collision of a vehicle with a simple configuration. There is provided a floor panel 1 constituting a bottom surface of a passenger compartment, and a dash panel 2 which forms a front wall of the passenger compartment by being installed so as to continuously extend upward in front of the floor panel 1. In a vehicle in which a pedal member including an accelerator pedal 6 or the like operated by a driver seated on the driver's seat 3 on the floor panel 1 is provided in the vicinity of the dash panel 2, the lower part of the dash panel 2 A footrest member 8 on which a driver's lower limb is placed is disposed on a side portion of the pedal member, and the driver's lower limb moves to the pedal member side at the time of a frontal collision of the vehicle.
