titleOfInvention Manufacturing method of polymer builder for detergent
abstract The present invention provides a method for stably producing a polymer builder that can be stably blended in a liquid detergent containing a high concentration of a surfactant and excellent in solution color and odor. A specific unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer (I) represented by the general formula (I) and a specific allyl represented by the general formula (II) in a liquid reaction medium in the presence of a polymerization initiator. In producing a polymer builder for a detergent by polymerization reaction with an ether monomer (II), as a polymerization initiator, 1 to 1 per mole of the total moles of the monomer (I) and the monomer (II) 10 mol% is used, and a liquid reaction medium containing 15% by weight or more of lower alcohol in the total liquid reaction medium is used as the liquid reaction medium.
