titleOfInvention | Thermal recording material |
abstract | It is an object of the present invention to provide a heat-sensitive recording material excellent in water-resistant blocking property particularly for a polystyrene film substrate. A heat-sensitive recording medium comprising a heat-sensitive recording layer containing a leuco dye, a colorant and a water-based adhesive on a support, and further having a protective layer containing a water-based adhesive on the heat-sensitive recording layer. The aqueous adhesive is at least one selected from acetoacetyl-modified polyvinyl alcohol, diacetone-modified polyvinyl alcohol and carboxy-modified polyvinyl alcohol, and sodium glyoxylate, di (calcium glyoxylate) and ammonium glyoxylate in the protective layer. A heat-sensitive recording material comprising at least one selected from the group consisting of a polyamidoamine and epichlorohydrin resin. [Selection figure] None |
