titleOfInvention | Irreversible temperature indicator and irreversible temperature indicator set using the same |
abstract | [PROBLEMS] To provide an irreversible temperature indicator using a meltable composition such as wax, which has a high lower layer concealment property when not in use and can provide a clear change in color tone when the wax is melted without increasing the number of manufacturing steps. Provided is an irreversible temperature indicator set including a highly convenient irreversible temperature indicator and a writing instrument that can be written on the indicator and can retain written characters for a long period of time. SOLUTION: A porous layer in which a wax that dissolves at a specific temperature and a low refractive index pigment are fixed in a dispersed state in a binder resin is provided on a colored support 2, and the porous layer is solidified with wax. An irreversible temperature indicator 1 which is a melt-permeable porous layer 3 that is opaque in a state and transparent in a molten state. An indicator set comprising the irreversible temperature indicator 1 and a writing instrument 7 containing a liquid composition in which a solid material having a refractive index of 1.3 to 1.8 is dissolved in a liquid medium.
